ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. Rhine Valley Holidays

The picturesque scenery of the Rhine Valley has encompassed the River Rhine for over 2,000 years. Its remarkable countryside is dominated by rugged cliffs, terraced vineyards, romantic towns and sleepy villages. All along the 'Romantic Rhine', a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there are castles nestled in lush forests on mountain ridges in majestic splendour. These stone relics of Germany's past, often shrouded in mystery and legend, are some of the most popular places to visit in the region.

One of the most eagerly visited spots along the Rhine is the Loreley. The legendary rock with its famous sculpture owes its fame to a mythical maiden whose siren songs once lured sailors to their deaths. Every year over a thousand festivals celebrating the region's wines take place all over the Rhine Valley, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to get a real taste of local flavours.
