ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. DERTOUR teams up with Base Tennis

The UK's number one holiday provider to Germany DERTOUR has signed a new sponsorship deal with Base Tennis to act as its exclusive official UK travel agency partner.

Established in 1961, DERTOUR prides itself on providing tailor-made holidays - from city breaks to large group tours - to Germany and the rest of Europe for business or pleasure.

A short 35-minute journey from Frankfurt Airport and close to the high-speed ICE train connection at Montabaur, Base Tennis is an innovative concept that offers junior tennis players a base in Europe for pre-competition "red clay" training.

Situated in the idyllic, leafy woodlands of the Pro-Sport Hotel in Ransbach-Baumbach, Base Tennis has seven outdoor clay courts and three indoor courts. The comfortable family-run hotel has a cardio gym and wellness centre, conference facilities and on-site tutors.

BASE Tennis' mission as a high performance centre is to create winners both on and off the court. It is committed to developing well-educated, accomplished and mature individuals who can take on all of life's challenges as well as opening doors to US universities and providing guidance for players who want to turn professional.

Set up by Rodney Rapson, who is also Director of Performance Tennis at Highgate C&LTC in London, BASE Tennis' programme is based on the Competitive Based Development (CBD) Model developed over the past 15 years by leading coach educator Peter McCraw, who has worked extensively with players such as Maria Sharapova, Jelena Jancovic, Nicole Vaidisova & Xavier Malisse during their development years.
