Day 1 - Porto
Arrive in Porto and transfer to the ship. Enjoy a Welcome Cocktail and evening meal onboard.
Day 2 - Régua
Upon arrival in Régua, guests will be transferred to the old city of Lamego, for a guided city tour. In the afternoon treat yourself to a glass of Raposeira, a sparkling wine and explore the city at leisure.
Day 3 - Barca D' Alva
Enjoy lunch onboard as the ship arrives at the city of Barca d' Alva, which is a picturesque village near the border of Spain. The ship stays moored overnight.
Day 4 - Salamanca
Follow the river to Spain. In the morning you will reach Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its exquisite Romanesque Cathedral. In the evening there will be a Flamenco performance onboard. The ship stays moored overnight.
Day 5 - Pinhão
After breakfast you will arrive in Figuera de Castelo Rodrigo.
Examine the 16th century walls and walk the narrow medieval
streets. You then return to the ship
to have lunch and sail towards Pinhão. In the evening you can join
a wine tasting session and dinner at a local 'Quinta'. The ship
stays moored overnight.
Day 6 - Bitetos
Join the morning tour to the Palacio de Mateus after reaching the port of Régua. While having your lunch onboard, the ship cruises along to Bitetos. In the evening a traditional home-cooked meal will be served at the 14th century Alpendurada Monastery. The ship stays moored overnight in Bitetos.
Day 7 - Porto
You arrive back in Porto in the morning with a guided city tour. Climb up the tower of Clerics, an 88 metre high bell tower, to enjoy a breathtaking view overlooking Porto. In the evening, enjoy a farewell cocktail with your fellow travellers back onboard the ship.
Day 8 - Porto
Disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight to London after breakfast.
