ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. 5-star Deluxe Nuremberg to Budapest

 

Day 1 - Nuremberg

Arrive in Munich and transfer to the ship in Nuremberg. Embark at 16.00 and enjoy a Welcome Cocktail and Dinner in the evening.

 

Day 2 - Kehlheim & Regensburg

Join a walk through the city of Kehlheim or do an optional tour to the Weltenburg Abbey. Kehlheim's landmark is the 'Schleiferturm' tower, built by the Romans to serve as the city's defences. After lunch, join an optional guided city tour through Regensburg, or explore the city on your own. Regensburg is over 2,000 years old and the Old Town is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city of Regensburg is a centre of architectural culture in southern Germany; in the middle ages the city was the  political centre of the Holy Roman Empire. Back onboard the ship there will be a Bavarian Evening.

 

Day 3 - Passau & Linz

In the early morning you will reach the impressive city of Passau, where the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz meet. In the Old Town you will find picturesque squares, the church of St. Paul's, the convent Niederburg and St.Michaels Cathedral. Visit the Town Hall tower; explorethe city's nooks and crannies, and the enchanting footpath along the rivers of the Danube and Inn. There are several excursions which guests can join. Later in the day you will arrive in Linz. Don't miss the visit to St. Mary's Cathedral in the afternoon.

 

Day 4 - Emmersdorf & Melk

After a morning arrival you can choose an optional guided tour through the Wachau region and have a wine tasting session. Have a walk to the 900 year old Benedictine Abbey with its collection of medieval manuscripts, ceiling paintings and frescoes. Later in the evening the ship will arrive in Vienna.


Day 5 - Vienna

Enjoy the guided city tour through Vienna, one of Europe's most dynamic destinations and an important centre of classical music, art and theatre. You have the opportunity to book a shore excursion which will bring you to the Schönbrunn Castle or to the Hofburg Imperial Palace. You can book tickets for the evening event 'Sound of Music' and the ship will depart for Bratislava in the early hours.


Day 6 - Bratislava

You will enjoy the whole day in Bratislava and can take advantage of a guided city tour. You have the opportunity to book two different excursions to explore the city in another way. In the evening you are invited to the Captain's Dinner with a fantastic show. The ship sails on to Budapest where it is scheduled to arrive the next morning.

 

Day 7 - Budapest

This city is unique as it is divided into two parts - Buda(modern) and Pest (Old Town). In the morning you can enjoy an included city tour. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to explore the city further on your own.In the evening you will sail past illuminated buildings on the banks of the river accompanied by a folklore programme onboard.


Day 8 - Budapest

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Budapest Airport for your return flight to London. For detailed information on the 'MS Amadeus Symphony',
