ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. Located at the foothills of Germany's highest mountain the Garmisch Christmas market is situated in the best known resort in the Bavarian Alps.

The Hamburg Christmas markets transform the city into a beautiful maritime spectacle. With its stunning location, striking architecture, pretty canals and quaint bridges Hamburg is also affectionately known as 'Venice of the North'.

One of the highlights of the event is the Christmas parade which travels through the streets of Hamburg every Saturday of the advent period. The parade features floats of all colours and varieties and attracts many visitors to the city every year.

Hamburg Christmas Market

During the festive season, the Hamburg Christmas market adds a sparkling cheer to the city's maritime atmosphere. From nostalgic markets at the Rathausplatz or Fleet Island to the quirky markets in Santa Pauli or the Hamburg Winter Dom fair Hamburg has something for everyone. The largest market is set just outside the town hall, where twinkling stalls filled with hand-crafted decorations and a traditional fair create a truly magical scene, whilst the Gänsemarkt Hanseatic market is one of the most charming, with traditional carol singers adding a classic yuletide ambience to your Hamburg Christmas break.

Next to the historical Storehouse City (Speicherstadt) visitors will find the most exciting European urban development including the new Elbphilharmonie, a concert hall belonging to Hamburg's architectural highlights.

Fish Market Altona

This market near Hamburg's landmark the Landungsbrücken (pier) has just about anything and everything on sale. There is a restaurant in the historic Fish Auction Hall, along with some live musical entertainment, to rejuvenate tired shoppers (From the 15th of March (summer): 5 A.M. - 9:30 A.M.; from the 15th of November (winter) 7 A.M. - 9:30 A.M.).

Beatlemania Museum

Near the St Pauli metro stop, you can go on a journey through the world of the Beatles.
