The Canstatter Wasen is the second largest beer festival in Germany after the Munich Beer Festival. Its popularity increases every year as more people from all over the world come to visit. You will find large beer tents with an ebullient atmosphere and the wildest and fastest new highlights of the fairground rides. Culinary delights like 'Käsespätzle' (Swabian noodles with cheese), potato noodles with sour kraut or crispy knuckles round out the whole festival experience.
Away from the fairground rides and the beer tents there is an open air market where you can shop to your heart's content in a relaxed environment. The offer ranges from jewellery until trendy leather goods to herbs and spices.
