The Berlin Beer Festival commences during the first weekend in August; the longest beer garden in the world opens its doors in the heart of Germany's capital, Berlin. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Berlin beer festivals first Asian partner, unites with the beer mile where more than 300 breweries from 86 countries will offer around 2,000 beer specialities in all their diversity.
Additionally the festival is famous for its unique blend of culture and entertainment. There are 18 stages that present a varied program with artists and musicians that regularly appear at other Northerly festivals such as the Hanover Beer Festival.
Berlin Beer Festival
The beer festival's stalls attract over one million visitors to Berlin each year. The stalls make for the perfect attraction for beer lovers with entry absolutely free of cost. This year the festival aims to break the record for the longest beer garden in the world, taking place at the Karl-Marx-Allee. A beer garden covering over 2,000 metres in length, is sure to provide a fantastic atmosphere.
Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for tickets and accommodation it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.
