Entirely renovated in 2006, the Hotel de la Paix reveals a
collage of new materials in a collection of refined guest rooms,
sumptuous shared spaces, fine dining rooms, cutting-edge meeting
rooms, with daylight. Redesigned and proudly embarking upon its
third century as Geneva's premier boutique hotel, Hotel de la Paix
Geneva has successfully preserved its rich heritage whilst meeting
head on the demands of a busy modern lifestyle. From the first step
into the extraordinary galleried lobby, Geneva's five-star Hotel de
la Paix delivers the ultimate in sensory pleasure. Greeted by a
jeweled chandelier amid subtle blends of décor old and new, the
entrance is an exquisite introduction to the luxury beyond. Each of
the 84 guest rooms and suites is subtly balanced for optimum
relaxation, convenience and aesthetic comfort.
Hotel de la Paix's exceptional location is the ideal place in which
to organise meetings and conferences. Vertig'O restaurant, which
obtained this year its First Michelin Star, offers a refined
cuisine in a contemporary setting. Talent of the Chef was also
rewarded by the grade of 16/20 GaultMillau Guide 2010. Hotel de la
Paix offers distinction, tradition and elegance: a haven of peace
in the heart of the city.
Location
Hotel de la Paix Geneva is located on the prestigious Quai du Mont Blanc overlooking Lake Geneva. It is in the heart of the business district and only a short distance away from all of Geneva's downtown attractions including the Grand Rue, St-Peter's Cathedral and the Old Town. Close to the hotel is Pont du Mont Blanc, the bridge that crosses the Rhone and links the two sides of the city, the Rive Gauche and Rive Droite. The hotel is on the same side as Geneva International Airport and Gare de Cornavin, the main train station, making access extremely convenient.
Room description
Two natural themes prevail in the 84 beautifully appointed rooms and suites at Hotel de la Paix Geneva: lakeside rooms feature water droplets painted in shades of blue-green, while rooms overlooking the garden are accented with floating rose petals. The imaginative but subtle décor remains in keeping with the building's traditional 19th Century charm. All rooms are fully equipped with the requirements of contemporary luxury living while the legendary Grace Kelly Suite offers the ultimate in comfort.
Payment methods
The hotel accepts American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Diners Club and Other as payment options.
