Vilnius is a very pleasant and picturesque city in Lithuania. The capital's Old Town has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994. The medieval layout with impressive classical buildings and surrounded natural scenery makes Vilnius stunning. In 2009 Vilnius became the European Capital of Culture.

Akropolis is the largest shopping centre in Lithuania, perhaps in Eastern Europe. It includes a the hudge Hyper Maxima (LT's own department store chain), fashion stores, fast food venues, a multiplex cinema, an ice-arena and a 'ultracosmic-style' bowling alley.
