Exclusive, unique, a one-of-a-kind experience the Hotel im Wasserturm Cologne, international luxury hotel in what used to be Europe's largest water tower, is one of the most unusual hotels in Germany. Classified as a heritage site, you will find an extraordinary interior design of timeless modernity behind its 130 year-old walls. Designed by the interior designer Andree Putman, the first-class hotel was opened in 1990 and today presents itself in an elegant style. The form of a tower - it's a symbol for a kind of refuge, protection and safety that is not confining, but rather gives you a great sense of spaciousness and generosity. The imposing 11 meters high entrance hall with its catwalks alone will give you that impression. One step outside and already you are right in the middle of the pulsating life of the city. One step back and you feel safe in your own four walls.
Hotel im Wasserturm Cologne is located in the city center, 10 minutes walk from the shopping area and business district, 1.5 km from cathedral and railway station, 3 km from fair grounds, 15 km from Cologne/Bonn airport. There is also a limousine service from/to railway station and airport on request.
Inspired by the geometry of the water tower, the cylinder and circle are distinctive stylistic elements of the interior design. Blond woods contrast with the rough original brickwork, while light elements of coarsely ground glass create transparency. All rooms at the Hotel im Wasserturm feature satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a private bathroom. The interior offers a unique glass, wood and brick design.
The hotel accepts American Express, Visa, Euro/MasterCard, Diners Club and JCB as payment options.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
