ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. The turn-of-the-century style Hotel Altberlin Berlin is located directly on the Potsdamer Platz and has been restored its nostalgic charm after extensive renovation. As soon as the guests arrive, Hotel Altberlin Berlin welcomes the guest in the hotel 'parlour', which leads directly to 'Rike's Gasthaus' (Rike's Restaurant). Coffee, select beers and historic Berlin specialties - the hotel serve them all to the guest in the typical Berlin atmosphere. Hotel Altberlin Berlin traditional kitchen offers the guest a selection of cuisine from historic Berlin, as well as from the surrounding region. Many dishes have, over time, been forgotten - unrightfully, in the option - which is why the hotel have brought them back to table.

Located in close proximity of Hotel Altberlin Berlin, the guest will find the 'Wintergarten' Variete, the Philharmonie orchestra, the cultural centre and the Potsdamer Platz. Further undertakings are within easy reach due to good connections to local transport. The underground station at Kurfurstenstrasse / Bulowstrasse is approximately 200m away, the underground and S-Bahn station Potsdamer Platz is about 10 minutes away on foot and there is public bus stop (Bus numbers M48 M85) right on the doorstep.
