ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. ABTA was created in 1950 by 22 leading travel companies. It now represents over 5,000 travel agencies and more than 900 tour operators, right across the British Isles. Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraß

The upper part of Kurfürstendamm and the adjacent Tauentzienstraße are especially popular with younger people for their high street names. The area around Adenauerplatz is the most exclusive part of Kurfürstendamm boulevard with many designer stores.

Friedrichstraße

Friedrichstraße boulevard exudes a flair of the twenties. With its newly decorated buildings, exclusive offices and coffee shops, visitors will discover a slice of New York in the heart of Berlin.

Wilmersdorfer Straße

This traditional shopping boulevard offers of a huge number of shops and department stores very close to each other.

Hackescher Markt/Spandauer Vorstadt

The Hackescher Markt and its courtyards are a must-see for Berlin visitors. Here, you will find a huge variety of unique art and fashion stores as well as many restaurants and bars.

Nikolaiviertel

A visit to the Nikolaiviertel, a district reconstructed in the style of the Middle Ages, is a very special experience. Besides many museums and the beautiful Nikolai Church, the area offers numerous small souvenir and antique shops.

KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens)

This huge luxury department store was established nearly a century ago. A special highlight is the food section located on the sixth floor where you can find a variety of more than 1,000 German sausages together with a vast choice of delicacies from all over the world.

Galeries Lafayette

Here, you will find Paris in Berlin. This modern department store was designed by Jean Nouvel and boasts a spectacular interior. The French food department is an absolute must!

Restaurant Borchardt

Popular with actors and politicians, this true Berlin institution is particularly famous for its delicious Wiener Schnitzel.

Café Wintergarten im Literaturhaus

This lovely Art Nouveau building with its idyllic garden is extremely popular for a light lunch or afternoon tea.

Berlin TV Tower
