ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. Minsk is a magnificent heritage and is a capital with a rich history. Experts say that there are over 150 historical architectural ensembles in Belarus but only one has survived in Minsk. It is the Loshitskij complex estate, one of the most sentimental places in the capital.

The city's downtown was completely rebuilt after WWII. It is a unique example of Soviet architecture and all buildings in downtown were created in different years. But all of them are unified in architecture composition.

These are the biggest and most popular shopping malls within a 5-10 minute walk from Yakuba Kolasa metro station.

Komarovsky Market

Visit Komarovsky Market to experience a Belarusian market where everybody is hunting for bargains. You can find local specialties, fruits, vegetables, sweets, and lots more things to buy. It's just a 5-10 minutes walk from Yakuba Kolasa metro station.

Belorussian cuisine is similar to that of the rest of Eastern Europe but particularly Russian and Ukrainian. Generally it features heavy-fat potato dishes, mushrooms, soups and baked meat.

Pechki-Lavochki

A cozy and stylish restaurant in the centre of Minsk attracts guests by the tasty dishes of Slavonic and Belarusian cuisine.

Gourman

Gourman is close to Grand Opera Theatre and serves Belarusian and European cuisine. Styled as an Italian trattoria it offers excellent quality and affordable prices.

The churches of Minsk

Belarus found itself on the boundary of the influence of two Christian churches - Catholic and Orthodox. Visit the churches and experience the history during Soviet times (St Mary Magdeline Church & Saint Peter & Saint Paul Church).
