Budapest

Szentendre, with its Mediterranean atmosphere, is a town north of the capital and has always been a favourite with artists.


Margaret Island situated in the middle of the River Danube is the perfect location for picnics and sunbathing. The island provides a peaceful hideaway with large gardens and flowery fields.


Gödöllö Castle, 20 miles north-east of Budapest is a beautifully restored Royal Palace and was the favourite residence of the former Habsburg Queen Elisabeth.
