ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. This restaurant, serving traditional Alsatian-style cuisine, is decorated with flowers and antiques that create a warm atmosphere, and has a terrace that opens onto the canal.

Brasserie de l'Ancienne Douane

The largest and most colourful dining spot in Strasbourg. Established in the oldest part of town, it offers 600 seats indoors and 200 seats on a terrace. The interior includes high-ceilinged rooms and heavily timbered ceilings.

Strasbourg Cathedral

The city's crowning glory, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, is an outstanding example of gothic architecture. The cathedral is still in use with regular religious ceremonies, particularly on bank holidays. Individual tourists can visit the tower in summer months.

Musée Alsacien

This museum occupies three mansions from the 16th and 17th centuries. It's like a living textbook of the folklore and customs of Alsace, containing arts, crafts, and tools of the old province.

Palais de Rohan

This palace south of the cathedral is a sublime example of elegance and proportion, noted for its facades and rococo interior and one of the finest design achievements in eastern France.
